5 out of 5 stars Good Netbook   May 25, 2009

The netbook works well for someone that wants something very light. The keys are small, but that makes sense because this is a smaller netbook. I learned to touch type with this computer. I think this basically works well mainly for someone who is extraodinarily mobile and who needs to look up documents such as Excel and Word, and surfing the Internet.

5 out of 5 stars Great for Linux, who knows for Windows   February 8, 2009

Great little laptop for my girlfriend: sleek enough to be fun to use, and small enough to go places with her easily (and for someone living in the city ala Public Transportation, that's a treat). This little device is seemingly well powered as an interent and all around user box. The software came with a 'dumbed-down' version of Windows I could care less about, quickly rebuilt as a powerhouse Ubuntu machine. The ironic benefit of that is it took up to 2GB of RAM versus the '1.5 total' it says it can only handle. The 6 cell battery adds some great power to it for this size.

About the only complaint is the right side shift button is shrunk to fit the keyboard and make room for the arrow keys. The result is I often hit the up arrow instead of shift, but just like my girlfriend, I'm getting used to it quickly. No bluetooth or cd/dvd drive, but I never use discs anymore, and it does have usb ports to add bluetooth if you need. Buy a 3G stick, and you have an always connected laptop.

Those of you with question, feel free to ask! I am an Art & IT Director, so I should be hacking this thoroughly. There are also reviews on this device, which is the same except color:
